Instructions For how to use Google Sites Video
1) Most of the information is great and easy to follow. To some extent you will need to play with the new program. It is much more simplified than Dreamweaver, so I am sure you guys will be comfortable really quickly 2) When he talks about publishing your site: publish to only people in WSD3.org. This helps keeo your information secure. The link it creates for your site, is the one you will share with me to grade you. 3) Stop video at the 19:29 mark. When he starts talking about creating a tiny/bitly URL, please ignore. For the purpose of our class, you do not need to do this and is just a waste of your time. |

To insert Alternate Text for images : Go about inserting image like normal, but when the dialog box comes up insert a one to two word descriptor of image in the place that says ALT TEXT:_______. Remember Alt text is used for screen reader to read website content to blind people. It is very important that you include this in the descriptor.
Your lab for this week is also located in this document. Please review the end of the document for requirements.
